Unveiling of Henry Ticksensky Polish Numismatic Exhibit

On Wednesday, August 29th, 2018, PANS had a Special Dinner Celebration of the Unveiling of Henry Ticksensky Polish Numismatic Exhibit of the “Polish Coins From the Two Dynasties of Poland and the Elected Kings of Poland”.

This collection of Polish Coins are a broad representation of Polish Coins from the 13th ~19th century, which represent the Piast and Jagiellonian Dynasties and the elected monarchs of Poland.

These coins have been donated to PANS in memory of a friend, Mr. Henry Ticksensky of Los Angeles, California on behalf of Retired Marine Colonel Mr. Leonard Orr through a representative.

Mr. Henry Ticksensky was a Lieutenant in the Polish Army prior to World War II.  Mr. Ticksensky was also a very devout Catholic.  His intention was to create an expanding interest in Polish history through the study of Polish numismatics.

In addition, check donations were made to Polish Veterans Organization in honor of this special occasion

This Polish Numismatic Exhibit will be on display at the American Polish Cultural Center and  St. Mary’s Seminary of Orchard Lake, MI. Library in the future.
